We went behind the scenes for a home tour of Climber’s Dream SW16. As you enter the sweeping entrance hall, to your right you’re surprised by a climbing wall! You guessed it, this is how this shoot location got its name. The impressive climbing wall reaches from the basement up to the first floor, is used by the family, and would be a fun backdrop for a children’s brand or active personal branding shoot.
The rest of the home is filled with cleverly utilised spaces, like the hidden staircase in one of the children’s bedrooms which leads up to a mezzanine level. In the other child’s room, there is another climbing wall onto their own mezzanine. Add to this a home cinema, wine cellar and Japanese sunken garden and there are plenty of interesting backdrops to create a variety of content.
This property is even more impressive in the round (we love the triple height ceiling in the kitchen dining room), so come with us for a video tour of the ground floor and basement.
This wonderfully unique house has been completely rebuilt and extended based on the existing property that was on the site, built in the 1930s arts and crafts style. The new property is a contemporary take on that building and has wonderful volume throughout – 3m ceiling heights on the ground floor and basement and an abundance of space and light on the first floor.
